On January 17th, the AYLUS Houston branch organized a volunteer activity at Ballard House, where we helped clean the rooms and check the supplies.
We divided into four groups and each group was responsible for cleaning two or three rooms, also one group went to check the kitchen cans supplies if they were expired. We went to the laundry room to check the cleaning tools as required, and then followed the steps given in the instructions to check other bedrooms’ supplies.
For this event, the volunteers’ efforts made this event possible to be held successfully, and the Ballard House gave us an opportunity to improve ourselves. We look forward to continuing to serve the community in the future.
