AYLUS Great Neck Branch volunteers for Accessible Art Program (9th) 1/12/26

On January 12th, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, volunteers from the AYLUS Great Neck Branch met at the Great Neck House for the Accessible Art Program. During this program, we helped children with special needs explore their creativity through art. This week, we decorated small bags using markers and made origami hearts for skaters. We also wrote encouraging messages on the hearts to spread positivity.

Everyone did a great job, and we had a lot of fun working together. This experience showed us how meaningful it is to help others and give back to the community. Art helped the children express themselves and feel more confident.

We are grateful for the opportunity to volunteer in this program and support AYLUS’s mission. We look forward to continuing to serve the community and help those in need through creative activities.
