On October 4th, 2025, dedicated youth volunteers from the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch gathered again at the ALFC Generosity Center in Rancho Cucamonga for a purposeful day of community service. United by their commitment to helping others, the volunteers arrived early in the morning, ready to dedicate their time and effort to supporting families in need. Each volunteer contributed 5.5 hours of service, working from 7:20 AM to 1:00 PM with enthusiasm and determination.
Throughout the event, the volunteers collaborated efficiently to support the center’s food distribution efforts. They carefully sorted a variety of fresh produce, organized canned goods, and assembled boxes of food to be delivered to local families struggling with food insecurity. These packages provided much-needed nourishment and comfort, ensuring that families in the community could enjoy wholesome meals despite difficult circumstances.
The work required teamwork, precision, and focus, and each volunteer demonstrated these qualities with dedication. In addition to their physical efforts, the experience offered valuable insight into the realities of hunger and poverty, strengthening their understanding of compassion and civic responsibility.
