AYLUS Great Neck Branch holds AAPI Event at the Main Library 31st (9/6/25)

On September 6th from 3:45 to 5pm, the AYLUS Great Neck Branch held its 31st AAPI event at the Great Neck Main Library. The event started off with Victoria, Rebecca, and Ryder reading “Everyone Loves lunchtime but Zia”, “All That Grows”, and “Henry’s First Moon Birthday” respectively. Next, different arts and crafts activities were provided to the participants. This includes origami, making lucky stars, making animal plate crafts, clay, and crochet. Nathan, Ryder, and Rebecca helped the kids make different animals such as unicorns, sheep and crabs. While Jolynn assisted in creating clay sculptures and origami for the kids. Rainie and Victoria assisted in crochet and made bear stuffed animals. This event had an incredible turnout with a lot of kids participating. We thank everyone who joined us on that day and look forward to the next AAPI event.
