On August 16th, members of the Syosset AYLUS joined forces with the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) to extend their unwavering support for local environmental initiatives. Throughout the day, volunteers diligently engaged in the process of attaching stickers onto planting pots, and assisting with moving and sorting plants in the garden. They also participated in splitting mature plants into smaller ones to create a stable population of the species. They also assisted with labeling plants in the garden, and watering the plants. Members of AYLUS assisted LINPI and will continue to support our native plants.
