Houston Branch Serves at the Houston Food Bank on July 27th, 2025

On July 27th, AYLUS Houston organized a volunteer activity at the Houston Food Bank to help package and move Senior Box kits for low-income seniors in the community. Volunteers worked from 9 AM to 12 PM, efficiently completing 7 pallets in just three hours. Organized into different roles such as assembling boxes, stacking pallets, and restocking supplies, participants collaborated seamlessly under the guidance of the food bank staff. This teamwork allowed us to maintain a steady workflow and accomplish our goal within the scheduled time. The experience was both productive and rewarding, giving volunteers the opportunity to directly contribute to alleviating food insecurity in Houston. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of all participants, the event was a success. AYLUS Houston looks forward to continuing our efforts to serve the community and help those in need.
