On August 3, 2025, AYLUS Syosset organized a youth basketball event at the Syosset-Woodbury Community Park Basketball Court. Led by Coach Gary and supported by volunteers, the event was divided into two parts: a one-hour basic skills training session (9:00–10:00), followed by a friendly scrimmage for kids aged 6 and up (10:00–11:00).
Children of various ages participated, enjoying teamwork, physical activity, and sportsmanship in a relaxed outdoor setting. Parents helped maintain order and care for younger siblings. Jeffery (6) also brought chess, offering extra variety and learning fun for others during break time.
Families brought snacks, drinks, and picnic gear, creating a warm and engaging community environment. The event concluded with a group photo, respecting privacy preferences as needed.
