Syosset AYLUS visited the Sangha learning center on 7/30/2025

On Monday, July 30th, Syosset AYLUS visited the Sangha Learning Center, a non-profit organization that provides a safe space for individuals with high-functioning ADHD, autism, and OCD to come together and decompress. We began the day by stenciling designs onto the indigo-dyed cloth we created last week. Using two different techniques, we added unique patterns to our fabric. First, we used leaves, rubbing them over the stencils to create a lighter greenish-blue color. Then, we applied blue pigment with a paintbrush, giving the cloth a deeper, richer tone compared to the leaf technique. Later in the day, we held an art exhibition where all the artwork and creations made over the past month were put on display for everyone to enjoy. During this time, we also played games, such as Uno, with other members, making the day both fun and interactive.
