On July 27, 2025, AYLUS Syosset held a Sunday morning community sports event at the Syosset-Woodbury Community Park Basketball Court. Led by Coach Gary and supported by parent volunteers, students practiced basketball skills, played friendly games, and enjoyed time outdoors with peers and families.
In addition to basketball, participant Jeffery brought a chess set, adding an extra element of fun and strategy to the event. Families brought snacks, drinks, and picnic mats, creating a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. The event emphasized physical activity, social bonding, and community involvement.
