On May 25th, we gathered at the Cypress Meadow Clubhouse in Allen, TX, to create pet toys from old clothes for the cats and dogs at the local animal shelter. Since four of our volunteers were new to this activity, we started by teaching them the basic techniques for making the toys. After that We continued making the pet toys. We are quite productive this time. We made 25 pet toys in total! After finishing, we made sure to clean up. Overall, it was a fun and rewarding experience. We were thrilled to contribute to the well-being of the shelter animals by providing them with these handmade toys.
