For the final April session, the volunteers concluded the month-long project by creating and showcasing a new set of individually crafted stone-bead bracelets. Rather than collaborating on shared pieces, each volunteer took full ownership of their creative process, treating their designs as personal statements of aesthetic and mood.
Alex Tianlu Zhou chose vibrant gemstone colors—such as lapis lazuli blue, tiger’s eye, and hematite—to assemble a trio of bracelets with strong contrast and thematic coherence. Jenny Wang’s designs leaned toward floral palettes, using blush pink and pale green stones. Daniel Wang explored geometric spacing and minimalist color use, focusing on structure over saturation.
In addition to finalizing their own creations, the volunteers displayed finished works from previous weeks and offered guidance to participants attempting more complex patterns. The final session was a celebration of growth—not just in technical skill, but also in the volunteers’ ability to lead by doing, and to inspire through individual artistic expression.
