Houston Branch Serves at the Houston Food Bank on December 1st, 2024

On Sunday, December 1st, AYLUS Houston volunteered at the Houston Food Bank, dedicating three hours to supporting its mission of fighting hunger. The majority of our members worked on assembling senior boxes, carefully packaging essential food items to assist elderly residents in need.

Additionally, some members were directed to the Carousel Room. This flexibility allowed our group to contribute to multiple critical areas of the Food Bank’s operations, ensuring efficiency across different tasks.

We are deeply appreciative of the hard work and dedication shown by all our volunteers, whose efforts made a tangible impact on the community. Their ability to adapt and collaborate highlights the strength of teamwork in addressing important challenges. We also extend our sincere thanks to the Houston Food Bank for giving us another opportunity to serve and make a difference.

AYLUS Houston remains committed to supporting the fight against food insecurity and looks forward to continuing our partnership with the Food Bank in future initiatives.
