On October 15, 2024, Great Neck AYLUS hosted another tutoring session at Great Neck Library Station branch from 6:00 PM- 7:00 PM.
Meixin helped a student with basic algebra skills. At the same time, Summer worked with two students. She assisted a third grader with his homework and helped a kindergartner with basic letters and sounds. Once the third grader finished his homework, he wanted to read a book aloud. Summer began helping him with the reading, while Ruiqi stepped in to help the kindergartner, focusing on teaching words and forming simple sentences. In conclusion, it was another very productive tutoring session.

On 10/18/2024, the Great Neck AYLUS branch hosted another tutoring session at the Great Neck Station Library from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Sophia volunteered to help two third graders with reading. The third graders alternated reading a book, focusing on flow while reading the pages aloud. Sophia also worked on the students to make sure each word was enunciated with proper pronunciation. Summer played scrabble and taught new vocabulary words to her student. Overall, it was another very productive tutoring session.
