On March 23rd, AYLUS Pearland, contributed significantly to the Glenda Dawson TedED spring conference, which centered around the theme “Power in Perspective”. A team of volunteers from AYLUS Pearland ran different booths during the vendor fair portion of the conference.
At the origami booth, volunteers assisted attendees in folding origami cranes, which symbolized their hopes and wishes to showcase their unique perspectives on life. Additionally, volunteers manned the “Pin Your Ethnicity” booth, where participants were encouraged to mark their place of birth on a map, fostering a sense of cultural diversity and inclusivity. Furthermore, AYLUS Pearland volunteers played a pivotal role in managing the concessions booth, ensuring smooth operations and providing refreshments for all attendees of the conference.
