On the last day of the flea market event on October 15th, 2023, we gathered together to advocate Obamacare, Medicare and Medicaid programs to local low-income families. TMMTD, Third Monday McKinney Trade Day is open the weekend before the third Monday of every month and most of its customers are local low-income families. We prepared three posters for details on how to enroll in Obamacare, Medicare and Medicaid programs, how Light and Salt Association helps them to enroll in these programs and the details of the All of Us program. We also distributed many flyers to the low-income families. We arrived ahead of time to set up our booth with three posters and 2 framed banners. Through healthcare education, collaboration, and positive engagement, they paved the way for better local communities with better healthcare equity.
