AYLUS Lake Washington Branch member Eric Huang developed the AYLUS Accessible Learning Platform during August and September 2026 to support the AYLUS Accessible Learning Committee and strengthen connections among students, volunteers, and instructors across AYLUS branches nationwide.
The platform is designed to provide a centralized place where AYLUS instructors can share educational programs, volunteers can find service opportunities, and students can discover free educational programs offered by high school volunteer instructors. The platform is intended to support collaboration and resource sharing among 196 AYLUS branches nationwide.
The platform provides opportunities for:
- Instructors to post upcoming educational events and make learning opportunities available to students across the country.
- Volunteers to explore volunteer opportunities and find projects that match their interests and skills.
- Students to discover free educational opportunities in a wide range of subjects, including programs taught by high school volunteer instructors.

Second-Round Beta Testing
Following the initial development and testing phase, selected AYLUS branches from different time zones are currently being invited to participate in the second round of beta testing. The testing will help evaluate the platform across different branches, identify additional areas for improvement, and collect feedback from users.
Branches interested in participating in the beta testing may contact Eric through the AYLUS Lake Washington Branch. Participating branches will receive guidance on the onboarding process and testing procedures.
The development of the Accessible Learning Platform represents an effort by AYLUS Lake Washington to expand access to educational opportunities and strengthen collaboration among AYLUS branches. By connecting students, volunteers, and instructors through a shared platform, the initiative aims to help students discover new interests, develop valuable skills, and access educational opportunities regardless of their background.
Additional information sessions and demonstration classes are planned as the platform continues to expand and undergo testing.
