On Thursday September 24th, Aylus high school volunteers gathered from 6:00 to 7:00PM at Great Neck Station Library to tutor and assist younger students with their studies. During this session, Brian Zhang helped a student with math work, social studies topics, and french lessons. Meanwhile, Junlin Yu helped a student with various AMC8 math questions. Ivy Li helped a 6th grader complete questions about simplifying variables and a 4th grader with math and English work. Olivia Kang helped answer questions on US history and math, specifically decimals and systems of equations. Summer Lu helped students with 3rd grade ELA state testing questions; joseph helped as well. Zhaoxi also assisted students in amc8 questions. In conclusion, the tutoring session was efficient and benefitted many students with their studies.
