AYLUS Freehold branch’s first free K-pop dance class open to all the teenagers

Today, the AYLUS Freehold Branch held its first K-pop dance class, which lasted approximately two and a half hours. Zitang and Mackenzie taught the first half of the choreography for “Lemonade” by aespa. They broke down the choreography step by step and practiced the movements with the students, making sure they had time to follow along, practice, and become more comfortable with the dance.

Zitang and Mackenzie will continue holding classes over the next few months to teach the remaining choreography. Once they finish the full dance, they plan to film the students performing it. In the future, they also hope to have the students perform at community events and other publicly held activities, allowing them to share what they have learned with the community.

Teaching the class was a really enjoyable and meaningful experience for both Zitang and Mackenzie. Seeing the students gradually get the movements right, improve through practice, and genuinely enjoy dancing made them very happy. They are especially glad that they were able to create an activity that brings people together while also contributing to the community through AYLUS. It was rewarding to see that something they enjoy doing themselves could become a positive experience for others and a meaningful service project for the community.
