Garden City, NY — September 19, 2026
AYLUS Garden City volunteers supported the Garden City High School Homecoming event by helping with the setup of PTA’s Trojan Town activities.
Before the event, students helped set up the Trojan Town exhibition area. During the event, students welcomed and directed visitors, introduced themselves and AYLUS to community members and the football audience, and handed out goodies.
At the end of the event, students helped break down and remove the decorations from the parade vehicle and assisted with cleanup.
Through this activity, students practiced communication, public interaction, teamwork, and responsibility while contributing to the Homecoming community event.
