On August 22nd, 2026, members of AYLUS Syosset volunteered at the CCE Nassau Farmer’s Market at Parking Field 8 of Eisenhower Park from 7:30 AM to 2 PM. Members worked on stands, such as the information center and the children’s activities table, at the farmer’s market. Early morning shifts helped set up the market, and afternoon shifts helped take down the setup. Members’ efforts allowed new coming visitors of the farmer’s market insight and answer to any questions regarding the market. Members’ efforts also included interacting with children and the elderly alike. This event strengthened our members’ involvement in the community and helped them gain experience in social interactions with a wide variety of people.
