On Aug.11, three volunteers went to the Neighborhood Park on Mccrimmon Parkway right after they finished work on our adopted street.
They went to the park with tools and garbage bags, collecting bottles, cigarette butts, plastic cups, pizza boxes along the greenway, bushes, and sidewalks. Although it was a very hot summer day and the volunteers worked up quite a sweat, they were happy to help clean the park so that people could enjoy spending time there with their families in a safe and pleasant environment.
