On July 31, 2026, AYLUS volunteered at The Ballard House in Katy, Texas. Six volunteers worked from 1 to 4 PM, spending three hours baking homemade desserts for the residents.
The Ballard House provided all the ingredients and we used their kitchen to bake. We collaborated as a team, splitting up tasks and making sure everything got done. We also wrote heartwarming notes notifying the residents of the desserts awaiting them in the kitchen.
It was a smooth and enjoyable session and we all made a variety of desserts including brownies, cupcakes, and cakes.
