AYLUS Roslyn Provides Food to Local Families Through NOSH Delivers! Food Pantry (128th) on August 4th, 2026

During our volunteer shift, we participated in several tasks that supported the organization’s daily operations. First, we helped decorate and pack nutritious lunch bags, otherwise known as K-fit bags, assembling a group of nourishing foods while creating fun and colorful bags, allowing each meal to become even more enjoyable towards the children who receive them. We then later organized foods and items that were to be displayed on pantry shelves, helping improve organization and efficiency. Finally, we helped maintain a safe, accessible, and organized environment for all customers, volunteers, and staff, by cleaning around the workspace throughout the day. These efforts and activities allowed a smooth running operation of the pantry and ensured a welcoming environment for all.

Volunteering at NOSH Delivers allows a wonderful opportunity to support an organization that plays an important role in addressing important issues throughout the community. Our volunteer shift became a meaningful experience, demonstrating how teamwork and service can make a positive impact on both the lives of ourselves, and others included.

Thanks to the following four volunteers who participated: Natalie Tsui (4 hours), Charlotte Wu (4 hours), Jolina Wu (4 hours), Connor Chan (4 hours)
