On Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. EST, members of AYLUS Roslyn volunteered at C.P. Nassau’s Bayville location. C.P. Nassau has been supporting individuals with disabilities for over 75 years by providing services such as medical care, therapy, education, and residential support.
We started the day by playing ball games with the residents, giving everyone a chance to stay active and have fun together. After that, we celebrated Ice Cream Day by handing out ice cream and taking photos with the residents to capture the special memories. We then played a game of Jeopardy, where everyone participated enthusiastically and enjoyed answering questions together. To finish the visit, we helped bring the residents to lunch and made sure everyone arrived safely and comfortably.
Volunteering at C.P. Nassau continues to inspire us to support individuals with disabilities through companionship, kindness, and meaningful interactions. Spending time with the residents helps us build patience, strengthen teamwork, and create lasting connections. We look forward to our next visit and another opportunity to bring smiles to the residents of C.P. Nassau.
