On the afternoon of July 15 at 3:00 PM, AYLUS Morris Branch partnered with ECLC of New Jersey (Education, Careers & Lifelong Community for children and adults with special needs) to organize a summer clothing donation drive to support individuals and families in the community.
With the generous support of our members and community donors, AYLUS Morris Branch collected 6 large bags containing approximately 70 pieces of summer clothing. The donated clothing items included gently used summer apparel that can provide comfort and support to individuals served by ECLC. Volunteers carefully collected, organized, and prepared the donations before delivering them to the ECLC Madison Branch.
Through this donation effort, AYLUS members had the opportunity to contribute directly to an organization that has been dedicated to supporting children and adults with special needs. ECLC provides important programs and services that help individuals develop skills, build independence, and participate more fully in their communities. Supporting organizations like ECLC allows our volunteers to better understand the importance of inclusion, compassion, and community support.
AYLUS Morris Branch is grateful for the continued partnership with ECLC of New Jersey and appreciates the generosity of everyone who contributed clothing items to this meaningful cause. Each donation represents a simple but powerful way to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
This event reflects AYLUS Morris Branch’s ongoing commitment to community service and youth leadership. By working together with local organizations, our members continue to identify community needs and take action through volunteer projects. These experiences help young volunteers develop responsibility, empathy, and leadership skills while creating lasting positive impacts.
AYLUS Morris Branch looks forward to continuing our partnership with ECLC and organizing more service opportunities that support individuals, strengthen community connections, and inspire others to participate in acts of kindness and service.
