On Saturday, June 13, volunteers from AYLUS Frisco-Plano gathered at the Frisco Environmental Collection Center to donate used batteries. These batteries were collected from members of the local community and sorted by the volunteers to ensure they were viable for donating. Recycling batteries has a measurable impact on the environment, as it reduces the amount of new minerals which must be mined to create new batteries. We thank all volunteers and our local community for supporting our recycling efforts!
