AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring at Station Library 125th (7/7/26)


On Tuesday, July 7th, Great Neck AYLUS hosted a tutoring session from 6:00-7:00 pm at the Great Neck Station Library. Due to the summer vacation, there weren’t as many students, but each tutor was able to help a student with work or participate in activities. Olivia helped a student with a library dinosaur scavenger hunt and engaged in sports statistics. Additionally, she helped another student solve algebraic equations, checking work and guiding them through questions. Junlin assisted a student with various English assignments, such as ones on reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing, as well as Pre-Algebra work; involving problems on percentages, ratios, and fractions. Lucy worked with a child on spelling and vocabulary, while also participating in some fun drawing activities. In conclusion, the tutoring session was a fun, engaging session for the students, involving lots of learning and various activities. The next session will be on Thursday, July 9th.
