On June 20, 2025, our team volunteered at a Christian nonprofit organization dedicated to ending world hunger. The event began at 7:15 PM.
During the session, we packed MannaPack Rice, a specially formulated meal designed to combat malnutrition. Each meal contains four essential ingredients: rice, soy, vegetables, and a vitamin blend to provide balanced nutrition.
Volunteers were assigned a variety of roles, including labeling, filling, sealing, boxing, and warehouse support. Before we began, staff members carefully explained each step of the packing process to ensure both safety and efficiency. To make the experience even more engaging, music played throughout the event, and friendly competitions encouraged teams to see who could pack the most boxes. Our team proudly worked together at Table 2.
After approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes of packing, we helped clean up the work area. By the end of the evening, volunteers had packed a total of 115 boxes, providing 24,840 nutritious meals—enough to feed 68 children for an entire year.
The event was both meaningful and enjoyable. It strengthened our teamwork, allowed us to give back to the community, and reminded us that even small acts of service can make a significant difference in the fight against world hunger.
