Today at Fellowship Village, our volunteers assisted seniors by answering a variety of technology-related questions. One resident wanted to send invitations for a Zoom meeting and learn how to share their screen during the meeting. A volunteer helped draft the invitation emails and provided step-by-step guidance on using Zoom’s screen-sharing feature, ensuring the resident felt confident using it independently.
The session was a great success, as volunteers built meaningful connections with the seniors in their community while providing valuable technical support. The volunteers were also praised by the residents for their patience, kindness, and helpfulness, making the event both productive and rewarding for everyone involved.
