On June 2, 2026, Promis / Aylus Pearland had their first class of the summer K-Pop Dance lessons held at the Westside Library. The objective of the first class was to welcome the new students into the world of dance, showcase the program’s dance instructors and learn more about the interests and abilities of the students
The class began with the introduction of the instructors (Abigail Zheng, Anna Zheng, Grace Dai, and Alice Zheng) who all have plenty of experience in dance. After the introductions, the instructors asked some fun questions to try to break the ice. The students where then taught a short dance called “Boompala” by lesserafim.
Overall, the first class was a success, and the instructors cannot wait for the next classes.
