On June 13, 2026, the AYLUS Greater Tulsa Branch held a member meeting at Jenks Library. We began by recognizing our four graduating seniors and honoring their contributions to the branch over the past years. They are Kaiting Hsu, Kevin Chen, Neddy Cai, and Andrew Li. Great job, seniors! We appreciate your invaluable leadership and lasting contributions to the AYLUS Tulsa Branch, and best wishes as you begin the next chapter of your lives! We also introduced the new leadership team for the 2026–2027 year and look forward to another prosperous year ahead!
After the meeting, members participated in a card-making and craft volunteering activity. Volunteers used pipe cleaners and other art supplies to create small handmade crafts. Everyone’s creations were very creative and well made. We then placed the pipe cleaner crafts inside the cards and wrote thoughtful notes and encouraging messages, hoping to bring smiles to the residents’ faces.
We plan to donate these handmade cards and crafts to senior homes where our branch has been delivering music performances for more than two years. Through these heartfelt greeting cards and crafts, we hope to build closer connections with the residents and continue sharing care and kindness with our community.
A total of 12 volunteers participated in this activity. The volunteer event took place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A total volunteer number is 12, and the volunteering activities were from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
