In May 2026, AYLUS organized the Gently Hugged Baby Clothing Donation Drive in partnership with Gently Hugged, a local nonprofit organization that provides essential clothing and resources to families in need throughout San Diego County.
The purpose of this donation drive was to collect new and gently used baby clothing to support families with young children. By participating in this project, volunteers helped ensure that babies in need have access to clean, quality clothing while promoting compassion and community service.
Donations included new and gently used baby clothing that was clean, in good condition, and ready to use. All donated items were collected and prepared for delivery to Gently Hugged, where they would be distributed to local families in need.
Two volunteers Zoe Ying and Qi (Derek) Ying participated in this activity. They assisted with collecting, organizing, and preparing donated baby clothing for donation. Each volunteer earned 1 hour of community service for their participation.
This donation drive provided a meaningful opportunity for volunteers to support local families and make a positive impact in the community. AYLUS sincerely appreciates the efforts of all participants and looks forward to continuing similar service projects in the future.
