Reported by Audrey Hsieh
On May 2, 2026, AYLUS Murrieta members continued their work in the garden. They weeded and loosened the soil, and removed new tomato suckers (axillary buds) to help the main tomato plants grow stronger and produce healthier fruit. The members also collected fallen leaves to keep the garden clean and well-maintained.
During their visit, they harvested fresh green lettuce and shared it with the residents of Jacob’s House. They hoped the residents would enjoy the freshly picked, organically grown lettuce from the garden.
