City and Neighbor Support: Troop 446 Eagle Scout Tree Planting on May 23 2026

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, our volunteers participated in the Eagle Scout project, “An Eagles Forest,” held at the John Hargrove Environmental Complex.

During the event, volunteers worked together to plant 150 native trees as part of a reforestation effort aimed at restoring local forest areas and improving air quality within the community. Throughout the day, volunteers assisted with digging holes, transporting trees and supplies, preparing planting areas, and properly planting and securing trees.

At the end, volunteers helped pick up trash and clean up the work area near the trail.

The project provided volunteers with an opportunity to earn service hours towards conservation and actively participate in environmental conservation efforts that support a healthier and more sustainable community.
