On Saturday, October 25, 2025, four members of the AYLUS Bellaire branch volunteered at the Nature Discovery Center Pumpkin Patch Festival from 12 pm – 5:30 pm. This event is hosted annually, containing food, activities, prizes, and a pumpkin sale.
The volunteers volunteered at the noon and afternoon shifts, helping with the sales of pumpkins and food, and selling tickets to the Pumpkin Patch activities. Volunteers at the food sales helped make popcorn as well as distribute drinks. The volunteers at the ticket booth helped newcomers purchase tickets while also providing information on the event. At the end of the event, volunteers helped to throw trash away, move tables back, and move and/or cover the leftover pumpkins.
Four volunteers participated in this AYLUS event:
12:00 pm-5:30 pm, 5.5 hours: Justin Wang
2:30 pm -5:30 pm, 3 hours: Yuze Han, Bob Feng, Betty Feng.
