On April 26, the Frisco/Plano Branch of AYLUS completed the mailing phase of its AnyRefugee postcard initiative at United States Postal Service (USPS). This one-hour session focused on organizing, finalizing, and sending out the postcards created during previous workshops.
During the event, volunteers carefully reviewed the completed postcards, ensured proper addressing, and prepared them for mailing. The process required attention to detail and coordination to make sure all materials were handled accurately and efficiently. Despite the shorter duration, the session was highly focused and purposeful, representing the final step in transforming creative work into real-world impact.
By the end of the session, all postcards were successfully mailed, marking the completion of this phase of the initiative. The activity reinforced the importance of follow-through in service projects and allowed volunteers to see their efforts contribute to a meaningful cause beyond the workshop setting.
