On March 2, the Frisco/Plano Branch of AYLUS hosted an Art in Action workshop at ABC Chinese School, celebrating the Year of the Horse through a festive hands-on activity. This session focused on guiding children to create New Year horse-themed crafts, incorporating bright colors and simple decorative elements inspired by traditional zodiac symbolism.
The activity was interactive and engaging, allowing students to follow step-by-step instructions while adding their own creative touches to each design. Participants explored different color combinations and shapes, and volunteers provided support to ensure that everyone could successfully complete their project. The atmosphere was lively and encouraging, with students actively participating and sharing ideas throughout the session.
By the end of the workshop, each child completed a unique handmade horse craft, reflecting both creativity and cultural appreciation. The session brought festive joy to the students while promoting hands-on learning and artistic expression.
