San Diego Branch Volunteered at Torrey Hills International Fair on 4/20/2024

AYLUS San Diego Branch Volunteered at Torrey Hills International Fair on 4/20/2024.

The Torrey Hills International Fair is a community event where families can explore the different cultural backgrounds that make up Torrey Hills School.

There were over 10 countries represented at the fair: Japan, China, Canada, India, Israel, Poland, Russia, Iran, Korea, Australia, the United States, and more.

There were 8 wonderful performances at the fair: Australian Drums Show, Kung Fu, Indian Fashion Show, Indian Dance, Lion Dance, Singing, K-Pop Dance, Bollywood Dance. One AYLUS member participated Lion Dance and Kung Fu for the community. 

AYLUS San Diego Branch volunteers prepared paper crafts, set up display tables, hosted games, handed out food and goodies, wore Panda costumes etc… 

The festival was a great success. Both organizers and the community appreciated the AYLUS San Diego Branch’s help.

Torrey Hills School is a non-profit public elementary school in Del Mar Union School District.

Annie Luo, Bruce Xiao – 4.5 hours

Kevin Luo – 3.5 hours
