On April 13th 2024, AYLUS members had a beach cleanup in the local park. Up in the park, they found discarded plastic pieces such as spoons, bags, and even found a heap of trash that included beach towels, cardboard boxes, cans, and a book. On the beach, they continued to find more trash and as they made their way back up onto the park, they discovered more trash in the form of a Jersey Mikes order. Along the way, they discovered a stash of eight pennies. Everything was neatly discarded in the trash can.
