On March 28th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members helped out their local food bank, the Community Mission of Hope. The members worked on splitting a new batch of strawberries into bags. They then worked on heping with handing out food to cars outside, organizing deliveries, packing boxes, and sorting food by their types into crates. There wasn’t much food in store so the boxes they packed were lighter. Thankfully, there weren’t many cars that came by to pick up food, so everyone that came was able to leave with something. As usual, everyone got a food bag, one or more food box (depending on their family size) and had the option of ham and turkey.
