On Sunday, February 10, AYLUS volunteers from the Frisco & Plano branch fundraised at the General Association of Henan in Dallas Spring Festival Gala. They welcomed and served guests during the celebration, simultaneously celebrating Chinese culture and helping a cause. The fundraising event was split into two sessions: before the performances and after. Gemstone bracelets, balloon animals, and popcorn were sold by the volunteers, but the most popular concession was cotton candy. The funds were donated towards the Plano Children’s Medical Center foundation (giving@childrens.com, 214-456-8360). Everyone was extremely helpful and welcoming during the event. We hope to see continued support for our organization in the future.
