AYLUS Co-President Michael D Fu Honored MARGIE HATFIELD SCHOLARSHIP

AYLUS Co-President, former president of East Cobb branch, Michael D Fu wins MARGIE HATFIELD SCHOLARSHIP from Walton High School.

Each spring the East Cobb County Council (ECCC) of PTAs awards one $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from each of the six ECCC high schools. The scholarship, known as the Margie Hatfield Scholarship, honors the dedication and years of service given by Mrs. Hatfield to the youth of our council. In recognition of her volunteer involvement, the Margie Hatfield Scholarship Fund awards deserving seniors who have made significant contributions to the community.

Michael has always proactively led, initiated, and participated in volunteer events after the branch was established, he was awarded President Volunteer Service Award in the past three years in recognizing of his great contributions to the branch and the community.

The Margie Hatfield Scholarship Fund awards six (6) separate $1,000 scholarships; one student from each of the ECCC PTA high schools will be chosen including Walton HS, Pope HS, Lassiter HS, Kell HS, Wheeler HS, Sprayberry HS.
