Members and advisors of the Birmingham Branch helped clean up Red Mountain Park on April 17, 2021. Together, AYLUS Birmingham members were able to remove a wide variety of debris and litter, such as water bottles, beer cans, plastic products, and even discarded clothes after splitting up to cover the many trails and surrounding areas. 25 pounds of trash and disposed of safely by volunteers to improve the environment for visitors and protect the natural wildlife and surroundings. The Birmingham Branch is committed to helping maintain the overall cleanliness and natural beauty of Red Mountain Park and other areas around Birmingham, AL.
