Because of the holiday weekend, many people went outside, which results in more trash and litter in the parks. On July 5, 2020, the Williamsville Branch cleaned up Amherst State Park, Glen Park, Island Park, and Amherst Central Library. It was a huge success, as we picked up a lot of litter in many different types, such as plastic, glass, and paper! We attained community pride and achievement by making our neighborhood more beautiful together!
