In January, Chapel Hill Branch hosted a volunteer event where we crafted handmade gifts for Kits to Heart. Throughout the month, we gathered handwritten letters and sewed cloth masks to contribute to cancer care kits. Our members spend hours sewing masks and adding extra touches like hand-drawn pictures and encouraging words specially made for those facing cancer.
We genuinely hope that the gifts will bring joy to the recipients as it is our goal to provide strength and positivity during their cancer journey.
