On January 21st, 2024, AYLUS Pearland hosted a Zoom session aimed at sharing their expertise in balloon twisting with junior volunteers, in preparation for the balloon art booth at the upcoming Lunar New Year Festival Matthew Niu organized the session. Jonathan Niu led an step-by-step tutorial on crafting balloon hats, butterflies, flowers, dogs, and swords. The participants experienced a sense of accomplishment as they successfully created their own crafts and learned many new techniques. They will practice more after the session and will make balloon arts at the Lunar New Year Festival next month.
