On December 20, 2023, a group of volunteers gathered at Kidzu Children’s Museum to host an enjoyable Gingerbread House Making event for local kids. The aim was to provide children with a joyful and creative experience with holiday spirit. Jack and Karen, members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill branch, took lead in assisting kids with building and decorating their dream gingerbread houses for the winter season. They played a key role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that children had a memorable time.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Zhiyuan (Jack) Xu (1.5 hours) and Karen Lin (1.5 hours).
