Pearland Branch Hosted Pearland My PlayClub #4, on Oct 28th, 2023

On the vibrant morning of October 28th, 2023, the Pearland Branch host the monthly My PlayClub , an event dedicated to fostering inclusive play. Embracing the theme of “Super Heroes,” the branch transformed into a hub of creativity and joy.

Dedicated volunteers arrived early to arrange the venue. The room buzzed with activity as they prepared stations for face painting, superhero cape decoration, and coloring, ensuring a delightful experience for the attending children. Outdoors, under the inviting canopy resource flyers were thoughtfully displayed, while the rhythmic beats of bucket drumming added to the festive atmosphere.

As the clock struck 9 am, a stream of excited children began to fill the area, their faces lighting up with anticipation. Some of our dedicated volunteers engaged the kids in play on the playground, encouraging laughter and camaraderie. Meanwhile, others patiently assisted the children with face painting and cape decorations, adding colorful strokes to their imaginative creations. With Playground Resurfacing, children can play safely, knowing it’s a fun and safe place that cares about their well-being.

The impact of the event was profound, touching the hearts of attendees. One grandfather, whose granddaughter is autistic, expressed his heartfelt gratitude, declaring this playground experience as the best he had ever encountered. The Pearland Branch had not just hosted an event; it had created a memorable and inclusive space where every child felt like a superhero.
