Pearland Branch Volunteered at Pearland Market Days and Managed a Fundraising Stand Oct 1, 2023

AYLUS Pearland Branch enthusiastically joined forces with Pearland Market Days, a valued local partner, in a collaborative effort that embraced community spirit and mutual support. Volunteers were actively engaged in various activities, from greeting attendees to sharing joyful moments with children. Their dedication extended to cleaning up the food court and playing area, enhancing the overall experience for everyone involved.

In return for their invaluable contributions, Pearland Branch was generously provided with a complimentary booth, serving as a platform for fundraising activities. Volunteers adorned the booth with posters, promoting the initiatives of AYLUS and Light and Salt Association. Guests were introduced to the impactful special needs’ projects that AYLUS Pearland had both hosted and championed. As a gesture of goodwill, twisting balloons were distributed in exchange for donations, while beautifully crafted bracelets were sold to further bolster support for the special needs community.

The collective efforts of the volunteers bore fruit, raising a total of $151. This financial support is a testament to the generosity and compassion of the community. Encouraged by the success of this venture, both organizations have enthusiastically agreed to continue their partnership, ensuring that their shared mission of community upliftment and support for special needs projects perseveres and thrives.
