On 9/27, AYLUS Great Neck hosted an extra help event for special needs children at the station library of the Great Neck Library. During the second time of the tutoring event, Andrew Qian, Lucas Liao, and Zoe Xia from the AYLUS Great Neck Branch assisted two special needs children on homework, and much more. At 4:30PM, the event started. We first assisted them in homework, by giving hints and tutoring them if they needed help. After everything was finished, we started to play with the children with toys that the library had. Towards the end, we were all laughing and joking around together and he had lots of fun. At around 5:30, we started packing up and said goodbyes to the families and, with a good mindset in our mind, started our navigation towards home.
